LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: The mother of Jesus Ayala, 18, one of the two youngsters who have been charged as adults for allegedly killing retired police chief Andreas Probst in a hit-and-run, recently broke her silence and spoke out about her son's arrest.

Ayala's mother addressed the allegations towards her son whilst speaking to 8News Now on Wednesday, September 20.

"I don’t know why he did this. I don’t know if God can forgive this," she said.

"I don't know what happened to my son. I don't know, I am sorry," the visibly disenchanted mother stated in the video when a reporter asked her to share her family's side of tale.

The mother of Jzamir Keys, 16, who was once reportedly beside Ayala all the way through the incident and filmed a scary video of the hit-and-run also stated her son's arrest over text. 

"My son’s side of the story will be told, 'the truth,' not the inaccuracies the media will try to portray," she wrote. 

Relatives of each Ayala and Keys attended an courtroom hearing. As according to The Mirror, a woman who declined to supply her identify lined her face as she cried after hearing master Randall Forman said he could be sending the case to Justice Court.

What did Jesus Ayala and Jzamir Keys do?
