History repeats itself. Joe Millionaire was once one of the most first courting shows to make a dash right through the reality TV growth of the early aughts — and now it’s coming back.
Fox announced in November 2021 that a relaunch titled Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer will launch in 2022, though there’s a big new twist. Instead of competing for the love of one millionaire bachelor, 20 single ladies will vie for two different males, and most effective one in every of them will be value “more than $10 million.”
The original Joe Millionaire debuted in January 2003 with Evan Marriott, then 28, in the name function. The 2nd season wasn’t nearly as common as the first, which made Marriott an early famous person of reality TV. More than a decade after the collection ended, the Hollywood Squares alum claimed that he didn’t truly know what he was entering when he signed up for the display.
