No, Musk isn’t buying Google. The claims are merely rumors that began from a couple of YouTube videos titled “Elon Musk: ‘I OFFICIALLY Bought Google!’” The first video was once posted on Dec. 19, 2022, via the Elon Musk Now YouTube channel. It received 153,277 perspectives.
A 2nd video, posted on Jan. Eight on the Elon Musk Zone YouTube page, garnered over 444,000 perspectives. The video notes that Elon Musk Zone admits that the channel “is now not related to Elon Musk in ANY approach and is purely made for leisure purposes, based on information, rumors, and fiction.”

However, some other folks didn’t understand the movies have been "fake news" and helped spread the rumor on Twitter.

Others pointed out that the Musk-focused YouTube channels aren’t the highest position to get factual news on the Tesla billionaire.
